Tips for an Autumn Wall Wreath.

Tips for an Autumn Wall Wreath.

How we create an autumn atmosphere in the house.

The holiday season isn't far away, and while things may seem a little different this year, it's more important than ever to savor those little moments of beauty and celebration. While the idea of entertaining has taken on a new form, we are excited to create authentic moments in our own homes.

Here are some of our tips for styling your wall wreath. We love finding a unique way to incorporate a little nature into our seasonal designs. With its berries and curled foliage, our wreath here is decidedly autumnal!

You can create your own with simple elements to bring texture and warmth to your home.

Create your fall wreath in 5 easy steps:

No.1 Imagine a colour palette.

No.2 Selecting plants and twigs in a mix of colours and textures. We found some nice things in nature, dried ferns, grasses, Lunaria (the famous Pope's coin) and autumn leaves.

No.3 Group several elements, such as mini bouquets, before attaching them to a wreath base (metal circle, wicker or rattan base). We use a flexible brass wire as a tie.

No. 4 Add a silk or velvet ribbon to enhance your crown.

No. 5 Hang the wreath from a window, door or wall.

Wedding florist at Château La Tour Vaucros in Sorgues (84).

THEMES and STYLE : Classic, greenery, elegant, timeless, the colour palette varied mainly around white.

THE FLOWERS: Peonies, roses, country flowers(sweet peas!) were selected for all the decorations. We selected white anthuriums and orchids for their modern spirit and the whiteness of their flowers. A touch of gypsophila for its light flowers and a special request for somehydrangea flowers, the bride's favourite flower.

THE WEDDING BOUQUET & ACCESSORIES: The bridal bouquet was all volume, unstructured, wild and modern as we love them!

Melissa's bouquet was finished with a light nude silk ribbon.

THE CEREMONY: We had the pleasure of putting flowers on the white wooden pergola of the estate.

The facade of the Château La Tour Vaucros, typical of charming Provencal villas, offered us a choice backdrop for the ceremony.

DINNER: Dinner was held in the reception room of Château La Tour Vaucros.

The table arrangements were simple, beautifully decorated with candles in glass vases and white flowers with a touch of foliage in the center.

An intimate wedding in a castle | Chambéry (73)

Wedding florist Chambéry (73) | Savoie.

THEMES and STYLE: A new design orchestrated by the talented Magali of Celebrate Agency. A touch of the rusticity of the countryside mixed harmoniously with the elegance of castles.

THE FLOWERS: We selected several classic and timeless varieties such as rose, carnation, lisianthus and delphinium. A mixture of rustic foliage such as eucalyptus and Italian ruscus completed the floral arrangements.

The groom asked us to incorporate red roses, his mother's favorite flower. It was a big challenge to find the balance with the white and blue color palette but I think it came out pretty harmonious!

THE WEDDING BOUQUET & ACCESSORIES: Joëlle wanted a rather round, gathered bridal bouquet with a selection of flowers in the colour palette. We finished it off with a pretty hand-dyed blue silk ribbon.

THE CEREMONY : Surrounded by their family and friends, Joëlle and Mathew took advantage of the estate's gardens to set up their secular ceremony. We created an arched floral arrangement on the ground, with flowers and foliage of different heights, which created an interesting dynamic in this ceremony setting.

DINNER: The dinner was set up on long rectangular tables in the courtyard of the castle. We placed centerpieces of different sizes and volumes, in containers carefully chosen for their elegant and rustic look at the same time: glass cups and Medicis jars.

THE DETAILS: Valery has a great talent for staging and photographing pretty details. Look at how the stationery is highlighted by a few delphinium flowers!

A summer wedding in Burgundy, Fresh, Organic and Elegant | Château de Varennes (71).

Wedding florist Mâcon (71) | Burgundy.

Fresh, Organic & Elegant.

This fresh, organic and elegant early summer wedding near Macon in Burgundy was definitely a highlight of the season. It had it all: incredible style, perfect weather, a lovely couple who were super in love and all those flowers!

Olga wanted something that was the perfect blend of romance, freshness, simplicity, elegance and romance. She chose Le Chateau de Varennes as the venue to bring out the French country/elegance vibe with its warm interior and charming exterior.

To enhance this, Celebrate Agency designed this space to be romantic and intimate, with details such as candles, crystal glasses, silver cutlery and gold rimmed clear crystal plates. We went crazy with romantic flowers and lush greenery EVERYWHERE.

Another one of our favorite things about this wedding was the ceremony!!! It was magical to have designed this beautiful vow exchange area under the trees in the castle gardens (the Medici pots are now part of our inventory!).

A dinner set up on banquet tables in front of the castle, with a multitude of mismatched glass vials, decorated with white garden flowers and roses, accompanied by a few sprigs of foliage.

We used lots of garden roses, spray roses, but mostly fun little textural flowers like veronicas and soft green and sage foliage. All the best late spring flowers!

We were also able to work with some incredible providers!

In the heart of an exceptional vineyard in Provence | Aix-en-Provence.

Wedding florist Aix-en-Provence - Luberon | Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.

The story.

LOCATION : The Villa BaulieuVilla Baulieu is a charming residence near Aix en Provence, in the heart of a historic family wine estate.

THE DATE: In May, peak season for peonies and garden roses, but also for lush foliage.

THE COUPLE : Katelyn & William , they are Americans and fell under the charm of this villa in the heart of an exceptional vineyard, even more beautiful in real life than in pictures !

The floral design.

THEMES and STYLE : Classic, timeless, romantic, moody.

The color palette varied subtly from peachy white, to nude and blush. A little touch of coral brightened the look.

THE FLOWERS: Peonies, ranunculus (the last of the season), country flowers, David Austin and other garden roses have been selected for all the decorations.

THE WEDDING BOUQUET & ACCESSORIES: The bridal bouquet was wildly based, slightly unstructured, romantic, wild and modern as we love them! The finish of Kate's bouquet was a sublime forest green velvet ribbon, a color of character that lifted the ensemble perfectly.

Kate had also attached to her bridal bouquet a piece of lace ribbon from her dress. We love this personalized touch!

THE CEREMONY: One of the biggest technical floral challenges of the day (the other being the fountain!). The gates of the orangery, at the back of the property, offered us a great backdrop for the ceremony.

THE COCKTAIL: The fountain decor was the focal point of the cocktail. We had to get a little wet to make it!

THE DINNER : The dinner took place under a tent, in the gardens of the villa. Anne-Laure, wedding planner and event designer on this project, imagined the tables set up like a banquet. Small floral arrangements in flasks and vials accompanied by a few golden flowered cups decorated the tables. Vintage candle holders from Vaisselle Vintage and candles in a palette of nudes for the final touch.

Modern romance in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue | Vaucluse (84).

Wedding florist Vaucluse | Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur.

The story.

LOCATION : Beautiful romantic villa in the south of France, Le Petit Hôpital, near L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in the Vaucluse.

THE DATE: In May, peak season for peonies and garden roses, but also for lush foliage.

THE COUPLE: Patricia and Christopher, they are Australian and are truly the epitome of romance and love! Patricia wore a Paolo Sebastian creation to perfection. Chris' suit was in dark velvet from Dresd.

The floral design.

Contemporary, classic, timeless, romantic, moody, intimate. Patricia and Chris had a clear vision of what they wanted in the floral design for their event. The mood was a subtle mix of dark foliage and lighter flowers, in shades of white, nudes and pinks with a touch of lilac. It was important to keep a harmony between moody spirit and freshness.

We were really inspired by the famous Caffe latte garden roses which are truly a splendor! We were still in peony season and were lucky enough to find some gorgeous varieties at the flower market with silky petals and full hearts. The bride's bouquet was rather round, harmonious with contrasting dark and light colours but also ultra romantic with beautiful garden roses. The bridesmaids all had a similar bouquet to the bride's, in a smaller size. We finished each bouquet with a hand dyed silk ribbon in our studio. We love these shades of old rose so much!

The ceremony took place in the gardens of the villa, in a tree-lined space that was truly suitable for exchanging vows. We created a two-part setting with effect arrangements in Medicis vases from our container collection. Bouquets of chairs and sleek black lanterns enhanced the ceremony aisle.

The day's hardest blow was the rain that came down at the end of the cocktail party. The plan A initially planned in the courtyard of the villa was replaced by plan B. The tables were set up indoors, in the large living room. But this plan B turned out to be just as magical! A table runner of foliage and flowers was perfect for the banquet tables.

Light became paramount in this enclosed space and so we brought in all the candles and candle holders we could find in the villa, in addition to those originally planned in the dinner styling.

Isla and Smith had a stunning welcome sign planned! A beautiful round design and modern graphics greeted guests as they entered the gardens. We brought our floral touch to the design.

A Provencal wedding in the heart of the olive trees | Le Clos Saint-Estève (84)

Wedding florist Clos Saint Estève in Provence.

Fun, modern and all outdoor, it is our favorite of the 2018 season.

It's not hard to see why this wedding is one of our favorites! This wedding was also our first time meeting the best of the best, Chris and Ruth Photographywho are as lovely as they are talented!

The day began with the installation of the chuppah for the religious ceremony in the gardens of the Clos Saint Estève. We had planned our wooden arch ivory drapes and the most beautiful roses for this decor!

As we like to stick to the context, we had chosen Mediterranean foliage such as theolive tree and theeucalyptus.

After the ceremony area, we set up the floral decoration of the beautiful long tables. Set in a field of olive trees and under the lights of the garlands, the reception promised to be magical! Just like all the weddings organized by the talented wedding planners Isla and Smith.

The charm of the Clos Saint Estève and the mild weather allowed our couple to live their day like a French dream in the heart of Provence!

For the floral design, the couple wanted something modern, with neutral and soft colors. Lisa from Isla and Smith contacted us to create an organic and modern Provencal atmosphere with floral arrangements for the ceremony, dinner tables and cocktail party around the pool and on the terraces of the house.

On the tables, our glass photophores complemented the olive leaf table runners. For a little touch of flowers, without overdoing it, we slipped a few glass vials with flowers in the center of the table runners.

For the cocktail party, we opted for floral arrangements in brass cups (anthique gold!).

A wedding at Château d'Ailly in the Loire Valley near Roanne (42)

Wedding florist Saint-Etienne, Roanne | Loire (42)

When Margaux and Maxime started planning their wedding, they already had their design ideas in mind! They were inspired by something bohemian with a vintage feel.

Margaux is the manager of the online shop Rue de la Déco. She knew exactly the style she wanted to give to the event!

First meeting with the talented Madeleine Photographie, who captured this wedding with simplicity and delicacy.

The two lovers (from childhood!) fell under the charm of the domain, Le Château d'Ailly near Roanne, in the Loire. First time for us and nice discovery! This domain has a beautiful interior courtyard and old stones which give it a crazy charm! Warm, welcoming and at the same time very simple, it offers a superb setting for a bohemian and romantic floral decoration!

As for the flowers, the lovers knew which ones they wanted to go with, with a particular love for gypsophila and the garden rose. So we chose these beauties, with a mix of seasonal flowers and soft foliage such asEucalyptus and Populus.
A soft round bouquet for Margaux and a minimalist boutonniere for the gentleman. All the ladies were crowned with a white wreath of flowers.

"Flowers were also an essential part of my decorating scheme and Lilac Wood was very good at identifying what I wanted. »

This wedding is full of pretty details, attention and winks, which we let you discover!
